Coach Bios:
Joanie (Creedon) Glick - Joanie
is a USFS triple Gold Medalist, holding 2 Master and 3 Senior PSA
Ratings, level II Ranking and Hockey II. After High school, she
performed with the Corps de Ballet of Ice Capades West, Co, skating in
2 more professional tank ice tours after college. While earning
her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst, she directed the gym figure skating class for
the University. After graduating in 1983, she continued teaching
students of all ages and levels beginner through senior with skaters
competing in Sectionals. For the past 10 years she has been a ratings examiner for the Professional Skaters Association
as well as mentoring area coaches for the ratings process. For the past
5+ years she has been the Director of Figure Skating at the Foxboro
Sports Center. After serving on the Board of Governors for the Patriot Ice
Club, she has continued to strive for a fun and healthy skating environment
for skaters of all ages and levels here at the Patriot Ice Club.
Michell Weber - Michell has been coaching since 1979
and is currently accepting students at any level. She is a Triple gold Medalist
in freestyle and
figures, in both US and Canada. She also is a PSA and an ISI member. Michell also has a
Silver in Pairs. She has trained with Gustave Lussi for ten years, who has also trained
Dick Button, Robin Cousins and Dorothy Hamill. In addition, she has
trained with Carlo Fassi and Carry Leach. She's also worked with Howard
Nicholson for ten
years, who has also trained Sonja Henie and Toller Cranston. Michell has also trained
competitors for Regional, Sectional, as well as Open competitions, as well as having been a
competitor in all of
these herself. She has trained a North Atlantic Champion, a US Junior Olympic
competitor, the Swiss National Junior Men's Champion as well as their National Novice Ladies
Champion. Additionally, she has trained Belgium's Ladies
Champion and various ISI world competitors. Michell has experience with
tiny tots, teens, and
adults of all ages.
Anne Marie Filosa - Ann
Marie has taught skating since 1973 and is currently accepting students
at all levels. Her students have successfully passed the USFS Senior
level and have competed nationally and internationally in synchronized
skating. Anne Marie has passed the USFS Eighth Figure Test, Senior Free
Skating Test, Adult Gold Dance Test, Standard Silver Dance Test, and
three International Dance Tests. Since 2003, she has skated on the
Esprit de Corps synchronized skating team and has won National medals
in the Adult and Masters divisions. Anne Marie is an active member of
the PSA and is Master Rated in Moves in the Field and Group and Senior
Rated in Free Skating. She is also the PSA Area 2 Representative, a PSA
Ratings Examiner in Moves and Group, and an ISI Gold Certified Judge.
Anne Marie is a graduate of Milton Academy and Wellesley College where
she earned a B.A. in French.

Jackie Hoyt Tomsik - Jackie
has been coaching skating for 20 years and teaching dance for 22 years.
She was the 1983 and 1984 New England Novice Ladies Gold Medalist, 1984
Eastern Novice Ladies Bronze Medalist, and 1984 United States National
competitor. She passed her seventh figure and freestyle test. After a
back injury took her off the ice, she pursued her other love: dance.
Jackie performed in the Boston area with a company affiliated with the
renowned Jeannette Neill Dance Studio in Boston and for various shows
like Disney’s Preview of “Pocahontas”. She graduated magna cum laude
from Ithaca College with a Speech Communication major and double minor
in Dance and French. She is married and has two children.
